Team coaching- working together effectively

Every team is made up of individuals bringing their different backgrounds, varying motivations and sometimes opposing agendas to the table. The challenge is to optimize and release the potential of each individual in the team in order to deliver better results and enhance team performance for the benefit of the organization, the team itself and each individual team member.

In Anne Rød et al AS we tailor the training and development for each team we work with based in the specific needs and requirements of the team. Through the team development process we look at what the team is aiming to accomplish and HOW they go about it. That means examining values, norms, team and individual stakes, goals, formal and non-formal roles, culture and communication, stress and tension areas, potential conflicts, creating trust etc.

We offer team coaching which:

  • Identify the team`s effectiveness by using a Team Diagnostics tool which assess productivity and positivity

  • Develop an understanding of the teams communication styles, its strength and weaknesses by applying the individual Lifo results

  • Through team development, using a systems approach, address issues and challenges the team is facing

  • Creating team alignment around stake and impact

 

Developing Intercultural and Global Teams

The need for, and access to, labor is one of the main reasons for an attitude change regarding cultural and ethnic diversity in the workplace. How can we ensure that our international mergers and acquisitions are effective? And how can be support the integration of international – and virtual – teams? Many intercultural endeavors are stranded due to lacking skills and competencies among leaders. Ambition and drive is not enough to succeed internationally, contrary, one also needs to look at ”softer” skills such as adaptability, ability to read verbal and non- verbal signals, active listening, tuning into different styles of communication, being conscious and aware of impact, curiosity, willingness to shift perspectives and learn, and ultimately being open to influence.
